The LMP Collective
Who else got about a thousand emails demanding new year goals and pressuring you to get a head start on your 2022 life? I know I did and it was ssuuuppeerr overwhelming. I actually found myself wanting to crawl into the fetal position. It also had me wondering…. “Am I seriously dropping the ball? Should I be sending out a email first thing January 1st?!?" Ahhhhhhhhh! Then I did some serious thinking. That is not my style friends! Last year was a great year for me and if I learned anything it was that doing things on my own timeline is best for me. Taking the holidays off and completely unplugging from work was absolutely imperative to my happiness. Spending time away from work has become a necessity in my life and that is why i'm a few days late in sending this email and totally ok with it!
With that being said, I am beyond excited about the things I have in store for LMP this year! If you didn't already know the LMP Collective is starting up again. If you were a part of the group last year you are aware of the incredible community of photographers this group contains. I have decided to assign each month a subject this time around. That way we can really dive in and learn in depth. Like last year the group will be beyond reasonable I do not do this educational group for the money. I do this because when I started out there were limited mentors willing to give away knowledge for a reasonable price. All I ask is that you guys ask questions and participate as much as possible so that you get every ounce of knowledge you can. Remember friends, the juice is worth the squeeze! But that also means, no squeeze no juice. This group is meant to further you in your photography journey and is a no judgement space. If you are shy and want to ask a question but are worried about coming off as novice please remember that there are photographers of every level in this group and there are others wondering the same question. All I ask is that you never limit yourself! Like last year you are all able to ask questions in the facebook group anytime! You are also welcome to reach out to me via social media or the facebook group when you run into real life photography issues.
