Here in Santa Barbara we are blessed with beautiful weather almost year round which makes this little coastal town one of the top destinations for weddings and engagements. But when it comes to choosing a location where should you go? When couples reach out about finding the perfect location for their engagement session i often recommend shooting on the bluffs near Moore Mesa. These bluffs are a perfect engagement photo location and provide a stunning view of the city’s coastline.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your perfect Santa Barbara Bluff engagement session!
Bring 3 outfits to choose from. Make sure to save your favorite for last when the sun is just perfect!
Bring a blanket to sit on. Sitting photos can be some of my favorite and are worth considering. By bringing a blanket you wont have to get your clothes dirty.
Lastly, make sure to leave some extra time for walking to the bluffs. We will be shooting along the way but the walk may add an extra 15-20 minutes. After all we want to make sure to catch that stunning sunset!
